Em outubro do ano passado, o Tribunal Superior Eleitoral decidiu, por unanimidade, que ambos perderiam o mandato. Eles foram declarados inelegíveis por oito anos e condenados ao pagamento de multa de R$ 5 mil.

O eleito cumprirá mandato-tampão até 31 dezembro.
