O presidente mexicano, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, expressou seus pêsames às famílias das vítimas e qualificou o ocorrido como uma “tragédia muito lamentável”.
O autor dos disparos no México, que cursava o último ano do ensino fundamental e morava com os avós desde a morte da mãe, há alguns anos, estava em sala de aula quando, por volta das 8H20 locais (11H20 de Brasília) pediu licença para ir ao banheiro.
